![]() Then recheck the Apple Updates in Windows again.Boards have adapted and migrated from in-person meetings to virtual meetings, to a blend of both, known as hybrid meetings. If all else fails, then you might have to boot into macOS and make sure you're up to date there too (could have firmware updates). If this problem is still plaguing you, make sure you're up to date on Windows 10 Updates, Office 365/Teams Updates and Apple Updates (on the Windows side). Again, this is on the same Bootcamp machines as before. Now we are getting the dreaded "robot voice" instead. I do think that they might have addressed the issue in one of the latest updates as we haven't been seeing it as much. It appears as though the computer is not monitoring system audio to compensate for the delay of which you speak. It also doesn't happen on other chat services. This does not happen on our Windows machines (that aren't bootcamp) nor does it happen on our macOS machines. ![]() ![]() I don't believe this is fully the case here. While I agree that this can cause issues. The issue is delay and picking up remote and system mic sounds. This machine should be identical to the others, so I'm really not sure what the difference is.Īny assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated. What's even more weird, I just setup another machine for testing, and it appears to work fine. What makes this even more odd (or maybe easier to diagnose?) is that this happens whether the Boot Camp user is using the built in Mic and Speakers or Headphones.īoth Boot Camp machines are Current Gen 13" MacBook Pros with TouchBar running the latest version of Windows 10 Pro (1909) with all of the Apple Software Updates. ![]() Once the person on the Boot Camp device is off the call, everything goes back to normal. However, anyone else on the call hears their own voice echo back. When one of the users testing this setup is on a call, they come through clearly and can hear everyone as expected. Everything works very well except for Microsoft Teams. After getting tired of crappy Dell hardware I have been testing using MacBook Pros running Windows 10 Pro in Boot Camp instead. ![]()
